I have had the opportunity to study, work and live in many cities across the globe throughout my life that has given me an unique perspective and appreciation of the diversity of human nature and culture. Along with it, comes my many years of experience in witnessing human suffering and learning its impact on an individual and their loved ones. I’m in perpetual awe of the ability of the human brain to heal and grow and the resilience of the humankind that brings hope. I strive hard every day to bring this hope to my clients, one session at a time, so they can soar higher than they think, beyond the horizons!
My Approach and Background
I employ an eclectic approach that is client-centred, anti-oppressive, trauma informed and culturally sensitive that draw from various theoretical orientations such a CBT, DBT, EFT, IFS and EMDR
I have experience working with clients struggling with substance use and related mental health and I have done extensive work in supporting children with sexual, physical and emotional abuse and adults with childhood trauma.
I believe that there is a unique and powerful story for each of us that deserves to be heard and validated. I meet people where they are and walk alongside them in the journey of exploring themselves and their strengths that precede healing, restoration and growth. I’m committed to empathetic listening and providing a safe space that is filled with genuine curiosity and a non-judgemental stance.
