Life can bring challenges, loss, and uncertainty, and these painful times can often feel all-consuming and lonely. Life can also be beautiful, fulfilling, and full of joyful moments—being human is complex. When we’re experiencing these inevitable times of struggle in life, it can be difficult to remember our strengths and our capability to overcome. I believe that no one should suffer alone or in silence, and I’m dedicated to walking alongside you as you navigate these challenges, while helping you to find the coping skills to feel empowered and capable for healing and change.
It is my aim to provide a warm, safe, nonjudgmental space for you to find comfort and support for overcoming your struggles. My practice is person-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative in nature, and I work from an integrative counselling approach utilizing DBT, CBT, and ACT approaches through a relational lens. I don’t believe in a “one-size fits all”, but rather, aim to collaborate with each individual to find the best fit for you. I have a particular interest in working with those experiencing relationship challenges, women’s issues, and perinatal mental health related topics.
